Help prevent and reduce violence around the world!

Unarmed Civilian Protection & Accompaniment (UCP/A) Community of Practice is a network of organizations and individuals dedicated to creating effective, community centered, nonviolent ways for civilian protection. UCP/A is the answer to the ever-growing civilian protection needs.

The International Service for Peace (SIPAZ) has sustained presence in Mexico for almost 30 years, providing international observation and accompaniment to human rights defenders in Chiapas, and since 2005, in Oaxaca and Guerrero, the states with the highest rates of economic, political, and social marginalization in the country, and high proportions of indigenous populations. The situation of violence in Mexico continues to intensify to dramatic proportions. SIPAZ is committed to giving voice to the voiceless, delivering news and analysis from this forgotten corner of Mexico in an accessible form that advocates and activists have found extremely valuable for mobilizing global networks of solidarity. Click here for more details.
